Wonderful piece of American studio pottery by well known artist, Malcolm Wright of Vermont. Undated, we believe this piece was made in the 1980s.
Beautifully wheel thrown stoneware vase, this piece is a perfect addition to most any decor. The orb form is subtly hand altered with four ribs and finished in a nice cream and rust wood fired glazing, featuring Japanese inspired leafy brushwork.
Measures 9"x 9.5". In excellent condition with very faint, age related crazing. No chips or cracks. Bears the artist's incised "W" mark to the foot. Undated.
