This 19th century French carved oak bookcase has a double scrolled pediment above dentil molding and two doors with full … Read more This 19th century French carved oak bookcase has a double scrolled pediment above dentil molding and two doors with full length exposed hinges, accented with figural, shell, and foliate carving flanked by Roman soldier figures.

The interior will accommodate adjustable shelves (2 included) The lower cabinet with two frieze doors over two foliate carved face doors flanked by male figures, all rising on the shaped plinth.

The pediment is included but exceeded our ceiling height for photos. (See photo #9)

This piece does come apart for shipping purposes. The doors screw off at the hinges, the crown has french pin bolts that unscrew, to separate the the sides from the crown and back panel. The bottom is one section that houses the parts to the top. See less
