These exquisite hand-painted dolls depict icons in the Byzantine style spanning from the 14th to 20th centuries. The largest doll presents the Holy Icon of the Mother of God, and each single doll is meticulously detailed, showcasing the artistry of iconography. Artist signed and dated (V. I. Kuzmin, 99).

The set is in very nice condition, with slight visible lacquer loss along the edge of the lids or containers, as shown in the last two photos.
