It is perfect … Read more This is a RARE original fashion drawing created in the 1950s by a Bordeaux couturier, Jean-Pierre Chansard. It is perfect for today's fashionista. Sexy, chic and elegant. Forever timeless. The pale lemon yellow dress has classic line styling with 3/4 length sleeves and a cross body line detail and button accent. Note the stylized boat neck and the elbow length gloves. The lavender bouffant hairdo adds glamor and her bright red lipstick finishes her look. Zoom in to see the details. The fashion illustration is done in gouache and ink on thick off white paper stock. We purchased this from a Parisian print dealer who specializes in original fashion drawings; she provided us with a copy of the couturier's letterhead as authentic documentation. See photo. This is RARE!!! 10.75 x 14.75 inches in size. Pristine condition with no markings, no discolorations. Comes matted in a white custom 16 x 20 inch mat ready for a standard size frame.
