The chair was produced in a limited edition in 1994. It is a rare find and was verner panton's own reinterpretation of his iconic cone chair: panton kept the seat cushion in fabric but replaced all other materials of the original design. He chose acrylic glass featuring a graphic pattern of black lines. He also re-designed the chair's chrome-plated base. With the vp 01 panton created a sculptural chair which is actually a piece of art. This exceptional piece of collectible design is in very good original condition with only minimal traces of use.
