A beautiful pair of high quality antique Japanese Meiji Era brass and enamel vases, 1868 to 1912. Both are of a baluster form with elegant narrow necks slightly expanding to the rim. The exterior is enameled with nicely detailed polychrome images of blossoming flowers and plants made using the Cloisonne technique on glossy black enamel ground. Unmarked.
