This is a fantastic collection of post-2004 images of Victor & Rolf’s work but also of highly detailed dresses from the 1700s, 1800s, and 1900s, part of the inspiring exhibit at the Kyoto Costume Institute at the MoMAK. The book is curated by color chapters for black, blue, red, yellow, and white, representing vintage work by Balenciaga, Chanel, Dior, and Vionnet, among others.
