Vintage Large-Scale Portuguese Folk Art Fisherman Lamp by Olaria Duarte Lisboa, Circa 1950s. Substantial hand-built clay sculptural form fashioned after a fisherman proudly displaying his catch. The figure is smartly dressed in a navy button down shirt, brown trousers and a soft cap. With a pleasant disposition, he holds a large fish before him, potentially a red mullet. Stamped “OLARIA DUARTE LISBOA” on the lower backside of the lamp. Fully glazed. Shown paired with a conical lampshade. SOLD WITHOUT SHADE.
