The … Read more This large and rare antique vase was created by Japanese master artist Ando Jubei (1876-1956) during the Meiji period. The sterling silver body was covered with cloisonné enamel and decorated with roses in shades of butter yellow, forest green, burgundy and pink. The surface is as smooth as glass. The sterling silver peeks out at the rim and base. The underside of the vase bears the artist marks and signature. In excellent condition, just a few tiny dinks in the edge of the silver base, see last photo. See less
