The Eames LCM (Lounge Chair Metal legs) is a true design classic. In terms of shape and construction, the chair was ahead of its time. The rubber shock mounts create a very comfortable seat; the backrest adjusts to your back, as it were. This is a very early version from a building in Rotterdam Hillegersberg furnished in 1954. The condition is good with normal signs of use and wear (see photos). The seat and back were once black lacquered and were once sanded and neatly varnished. These chairs were also sold in birch version. Material: iron chromed and bent birch plywood. Dimensions: h x w x d = 67 x 55 x 61 cm with a seat height of 39 cm.
