Offered for sale is a rare, small vase attributed to Napoleone Martinuzzi, early 1930s
Very light glass, amethyst in color and with a bell shape, showing a faint costolato (ribbed) effect all over the surface.
Small imperfection close to the base, which has occurred during execution, not affecting the beauty of such a rare example of 20th century Murano craftsmanship.
Some minor particles of ash are also visible, confirming it was blown before the era of gas propelled furnaces. (After WWII)
