40s Folk Art Turned Wood Bowl. Carved and painted squirrel with border design on interior and exterior. Dated on backside. Fantastic early Midcentury design predating with the arts and crafts revival movement that influenced designers like Alexander Girard, Eames' & Alvar Aalto works. Celtic knot border.
Beautiful patina; bright colors. No cracks or damage beyond normal edge and interior wear commensurate with age.
