The covers are decorated with Bok Choi and polychrome, plum flowers on top and red and green, flowering, leafy vines on the sides, bracketed by thin, red trim lines. The Bok Choi and plum flower motif is repeated on the bodies of the jars. The shoulders repeat the pattern of the covers, with a band of red, double arches on a yellow ground below. The feet are decorated with a band of large, polychrome, Ru Yi lappets. A red, six character, Tongzhi, reign mark is glazed to the inset base of one jar, the other has an illegible, red, four character, reign mark. The finely carved, traditional. Chinese, hongmu stands are included. Circa late 19th century to early 20th.
