These heavy clear glass bookends are a product of Fostoria Glass Co circa 1943.
Fostoria made a variety of elegant glass items and decorative glass accessories in the period between World War I and World War II, including figural bookends of many kinds.
These clear heavy glass bookends are the Lyre bookends of this period.
The pair of bookends weighs 6 lbs.
These are in great condition without any chips, cracks or damage, but there are some slight scratches on the bottom.
Each book end measures 8 in tall by 6 in wide by 3 in depth.
