The name was changed to John a Colby and sons. His furniture factory closed in the 1920s. Colby’s then became a retailer for other manufacturers in the 1940s.

There are some examples of furniture by this maker, but not a lot. There are no other yellow cabinets like this out there.

I was so tempted to take my Furniture finish, marking pen and touch up the white spots, but left it as is for the future owner to leave it or touch it up as they please.

Condition: the yellow crackle finish has chipped off in a small spots throughout the piece. Could be touched up with a furniture finish marker pen.
