Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern chandelier by Svend Mejlstrøm for Mejlstrøm Belysning, Norway 1960s.
Five armed vintage chandelier in brass with five smoked glass orbs. Arms are mounted around a central brass pillar in a spiral stair pattern. Emits a soft warm light due to the smoke/amber colored glass spheres. Lamp is suspended in a brass chain. Height of pillar is 82 cm. Total height including chain and canopy: 116cm.
Similar style to lighting designed by Hans-Agne Jakobssen.
Very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks in glass. Brass has a lovely patina. E14 sockets. Working order. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
