Fresh from a New York City estate, we have a great pleasure to offer you this PAIR of Rare Original … Read more Fresh from a New York City estate, we have a great pleasure to offer you this PAIR of Rare Original Antique Hand Painted Glass / Crystal Plates by Hans Zatzka (Austrian 1859-1945). These fall to end of 19th century, best quality work, phenomenal hand paintings on clear glass / crystal cabinet plates, further adorned with painted gilt leaves on edges. Main scenes are depicting young women and baby angels / cherubs. One shows wonderful landscape, fountain in the backgrounds. Spectacular Viennese manner paintings are titled "Printania" and "Geschieht dir Recht", and they are both signed on the back "H. Zatzka" ans "Bisson". Also marked TC with grid hallmark on the backside. Condition is very good (please see photos). Size is impressive 8.5" diameter wide. This is a crown jewel for collectible glassware, a neoclassical decor of museum quality. See less
