Set of four circa 1880 ironstone cachepots discovered at London's Bermondsey antique market. 19th C. Victorian era pottery reclaimed from building and excavations sites throughout England and Scotland.
Fascinated with the rich history and the awesome aesthetic, we bought a huge variety of this pottery directly from the finder and are offering them all on Chairish.
This collection has vertical striations; glazed interiors and exteriors with drip glaze accent on rims; unglazed bases. Each jar is handmade and varies in color and size. No maker's mark.
Overall good condition consistent with age and use; fabrication flaws, small base chips, edge roughness, patina.
Free local pickup; otherwise, shipped via economical UPS Ground.
