These Lorgnettes, eye glasses held in place by long handles rather than resting on the bridge of one's nose are in excellent working condition.

Also included are a pair of Lamaire Fabi & Premier Paris Opera Glasses without 'lorngettes'. This pair of Opera Glasses is also made from brass and clad in iridescent mother of pearl.

Opera Glasses were popular accessories amongst members of high society from the late 18th century until the 1920s, and were used at the opera house to get a better view of the onstage performances. This pair is in excellent working condition.

The handle can be removed and used on either pair of these Opera Glasses. See less
