Elio Fiorucci founded the world famous eponymous Italian fashion brand in 1967. By the early 1980s, the NYC Fiorucci store became a magnet for the city's creative trendsetters, celebrities, and stars in the making, and it was sometimes called "a daytime Studio 54".
