Stow Wengenroth "Inlet Light" Limited Edition Pencil Signed Lithograph c.1937
Rare pencil signed lithograph published in 1937 for members of the Albany Print Club from an edition of 180.
Dimensions 13.5" x 9". The distressed original frame measures 28" x 16".
The print is in good vintage condition. The frame and mat are included
Stow Wengenroth (1906-1978) Born in Brooklyn, New York, Stow Wengenroth studied at the Art Students League and Grand Central Art School. He lived and worked for many years on Long Island and then moved to Rockport, Massachusetts. He is renowned for his carefully wrought scenes of the New England seacoast; craggy rocks, lighthouses, boats and the sea.
This is a fine opportunity to acquire a lovely vintage 1930s lithograph by Wengenroth.
