The Judgement of Anubis is repeated from Egyptian hieroglyphic imagery. Anubis weighs the soul for the afterlife against a feather. Beautifully carved and framed on the cover with side panels covered by souls with ank and each end by the solar wings. The interior with engraved images of Egyptian myths taken from the Book of the Dead. Gilt Japanese studio mark to the bottom. The surface is a pebbled texture with a gilt surface, and some rubbing to the raised figures. The measurements are 4.25" by 2.9" and 1.5" tall on block tab feet. INV SFB # 21 See less
