Quite fancy large Victorian English silver plate meat dome or food cover. The ornate dome is perfect for serving or using as an elegant display piece.
It has a fancy repousse work throughout with fleur de lis figural finial to add to its beauty. Photos don't do it justice!
It has polished up beautifully and measures approx. 16" long by 13-1/2" wide and stands 6-3/4" to the top of the handle. Excellent condition with a mirror-bright patina and light wear commensurate with age.
Hallmarks have worn off over the centuries.
