it was produced by ton (thonet continued to produce furniture under "ton" in socialist czechoslovakia) in the 1950-60s.

the rocking chair perfectly combines curves typical for the art nouveau and art deco periods with simplistic mid century aesthetics.

a modern footrest shaped like a leaf (corresponding with the upholstery pattern) accompanies the armchair to make lounging in it even more comfortable!
the chair has been professionally restored.

the wood has been stripped back and hand polished. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
