Beautiful vintage ceramic harvest basket. With a lovely white basket weave background, the front of the basket is embellished with grapes and other bounty of the season, including red and green apples, an orange, a peach and a few flowers. The handle is formed to resemble a grape vine and that theme is continued with grape leaves and a vine tendril.
Perfect for adding fruit in for a lovely kitchen display, holding your kitchen herb plants or placing small towels and soaps in a guest bath.

As it is smooth to the touch and covered in glaze, it is believed to be part of the piece originally. The impression on the base includes the date 1994 followed by four letters which are difficult to read, but could be chpo, ckpo, ckra or ckro or similar. less
