A stunning Japanese lacquered wood dish with a raised rim and resting on a short foot rim.
Having a gold leaf ground, it is decorated with black, brown, green, orange, and red hiramakie and takamakie lacquers with a single crayfish on omodka leaves. Inscribed "Shinzan" with seal. Dates circa 1940's.
