Antique Art Deco Perfume Bottles from the 1920’s that is signed Lenk with his makers mark and made in Austria., … Read more Antique Art Deco Perfume Bottles from the 1920’s that is signed Lenk with his makers mark and made in Austria., Lenk was an interesting maker; just like the Neiger Brothers in Czechoslovakia he was imprisoned by the Nazis in Dachau for being Jewish. The Nazis seized these factories that made beautiful things and turned them into munitions factories and imprisoned the owners. This perfume vanity set is a rare survivor and wears its age well, all of the glass bottles and stoppers are perfect, the enamel shows wear but there are no dents, just wear. The bottles measure 5 5/8”H x 2 3/4”W x 1 3/4” Deep. The holder measures 3 1/2”W x 2 1/4”H x 4 1/4 across the base. Everything fits together well and is all original. There is wear on the guilloche but there are no dents or cracks, it has probably darkened but it still shows well. It’s lovely and rare. See less
