We are selling this very rare Currier and Ives lithograph print. This 1885 print is part of the series Currier and Ives did in the "Darktown" series, the series featured racist caricatures that capture the hostilities of the post Civil War era. The print appears to be original with hand coloring on the lithograph. We have not examined it outside the frame.
Condition: Some browning to the paper and discoloration. Colors are still bright. Mat has significant browning and staining. Some wrinkles in the print and there is a possibility it is laid down, we have not examined it outside the frame. Water stain in lower corner of mat.
