Offered is a mid 20th Century (circa. mid to late 1950s) turned and lathed classic Scandinavian-made Teak wood bowl, commonly used in the past for serving assorted nuts. The bowl has a rim that curls inward.and a flat round base.
Crafted by a talented wood-turner, there is no discernible maker's mark. The bowl measures 12.325" in width / diameter, has a flat round base that is 7.325" in diameter, and is 2" in height.

- This is an artisan-crafted bowl in fair condition. It has been throughly cleaned and gently refinished with a light application … moreThis is an artisan-crafted bowl in fair condition. It has been throughly cleaned and gently refinished with a light application of non-toxic oil and beeswax to nourish and preserve the wood. There are no discernible nicks, chips, stains, or utensil marks or scratches on the surface, however, there are two minor hairline cracks on either side (see photos), as well as evident wear on the bottom. It is perfectly safe for nutshells, jewelry, dried flowers, fruit, or as a catch-call for keys, mail, etc, however, not for serving food. Any wear is commensurate with its age and past usage. less
