The colors are very … Read more This is a striking and decorative antique Japanese vase 1868-1912 which features very heavily applied moriage. The colors are very nice and bright with red roses in the center surrounded by gold. The condition on this vase is spectacularly good, with just a little wear on the base which is hard to see, and maybe 1/16” of moriage missing from around one of the roes panels, there are four panels. This is such a beautiful old piece. The moriage on this piece is what makes this piece so desirable. See less
