More commonly seen in stainless steel … Read more Up for consideration is a stunning vintage "Ramesses" bench by Ron Seff, circa 1983. More commonly seen in stainless steel or polished chrome, this very rare example is beautifully rendered in solid brass, with its original highly polished surface now exhibiting a superb patina.

In overall excellent condition though not without oxidation marks, tarnish, and scratches commensurate with age and use. Note that a few small spots have also been cleaned/polished, resulting in a slight loss of patina in those areas which should age out. Of course, should it be so desired, the entire piece could easily be polished back to an original mirror shine. No visible dings, dents, or cracks seen. Please carefully review the photographs where we have tried to highlight the condition.

In summary, a truly stunning statement piece. *Heavy*. Wonderful construction in solid brass with a visible bolted/welded construction to the underside. A post-modern design with a nod to art deco forms, typical of many Seff designs. Overall exquisite craftsmanship and captivating visual lines when viewed in person. See less
