This snuff box appears to be carved from coconut or another unusual wood or nut like wood. The design appears to be alligators or crocodiles with a leaf form on the base. We believe it may be from Florida as the family it came from had Florida antiques from around the turn of the century.

Condition: The hinge is broken and there is a small damage to the box near the hinge.
