Original etching on … Read more The Saint is an original modern Artwork realized in Italy by Guelfo Bianchini (Ancona, 1937) the 1960s. Original etching on paper. Hand-signed lower right corner. Limited edition series. Artist proof. Includes frame (fair conditions) : 15 x 1 x 11 cm Fair conditions (some foxings) Guelfo Bianchini ( Ancona 1937). Born in Fabriano in 1937, he lives and works in Rome, where he did his artistic studies. He has participated in international shows and collaborated with world-renowned artists such as Bartolini, De Chirico, Cocteau, Oskar Kokoschka and Marc Chagall. After a first experience in "living drawing" and in "advertising drawing" he devoted himself only to painting which he discovered as an autodidact. In 1960 he took interest in the human figure especially in the woman one, and he went on developing it for some years. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
