Beautiful woven wall tapestry featuring birds in an acanthus tree surrounded by vines, called “Vignes et Acanthes,” by the master tapestry designer, William Morris in 1879 (1854 - 1896). This signature design was the only large tapestry woven by William Morris himself and the original work can be seen in Kelmscott Manor, Morris's summer home on the River Thames which he shared with Pre-Raphaelite painter Dante Gabriel Rossetti.
