Raymond Loewy prolific French-American designer drew this phone table up for Mengel in the early 50s nice elegant touchs. The drawer opens from either side like a Partners Desk. The space below for a phone book. This piece was restored and is not original. I applied mirror to the top. The mirror shifts the tone away from the black and white it acts as a 3rd visual force.
What sets this stand apart from the rest that may be on line is the wooden base construction with cross stretchers. This table is a good accent touch. Seat Height is 18.
