The Mid Century Modern poster print is published by the renown fine art publisher Tyler Graphics Ltd., on the occasion of America's Bicentennial Year - 1976 - in Fort Worth, Texas. Printed in 1976 n an unnumbered limited by Tyler Graphics Ltd. It features an Abstract Expressionist artwork image originally created by Frankenthaler in 1976 titled " Celebration '76 ", copyright 1976 Helen Frankenthaler.

Helen Frankenthaler ( 1928 - 2011 ) is an American Abstract Expressionist painter of a liberal Jewish background, and is a major contributor to the history of Postwar Modernist painting. She exhibited her work for over six decades, spanning several generations of Abstract painters while continuing to produce vital and ever changing new art works.

Her work has been the subject of several retrospective exhibitions including The Museum of Modern Art New York, The Whitney Museum, The Jewish Museum, and The Los Angeles County Museum of Art. She has been exhibited worldwide since the 1950's, and was awarded The National Medal of the Arts in 2001. Artworks by Frankenthaler are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

Tyler Graphics Ltd., founded by Kenneth E. Tyler is considered by many to be the most accomplished Contemporary master printer and publisher. Tyler is an arts educator and prominent figure in the American Postwar revival of fine art limited edition printmaking. His technically advanced expertise and willingness to experiment on a bold scale drew many famous and influential artists to his workshops, among them David Hockney, Frank Stella, Helen Frankenthaler, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg and Jasper Johns.

The rare out of print Abstract Expressionist lithograph print framed Mid Century Modern fine art poster measures 32 7/8" W X 26 5/8" H X 1 1/2" D.

It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern satin finish white oak wood museum box style frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
