A vintage fazzoletto (handkerchief) vase in transparent red glass. Manufactured ca. 1950s by venini, venice after a design of fulvio bianconi. On the base with acid etched signature 'venini murano made in italy'. Venini model number 3927. An iconic midcentury design with unbroken elegance. Good condition, inside on the bottom some irregularities cause during production.
measures: height: 4.72" (12 cm) diameter: 8.66" (22 cm) literature reference: marino barovier with carla sonego, fulvio bianconi at venini, milano 2015, page 99 ff. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
