The lithograph print is a page from a large format art calendar published by Dumont Art, printed in an unnumbered limited edition in West Germany in 1978, in association with Petersburg Press London. It features an original Expressionist portrait artwork created by Hockney in 1974 titled " Gregory ".

David Hockney ( B. 1937 ) is an English painter, draftsman, printmaker, stage designer, and photographer. He is an important contributor to the Pop Art movement of the 1960's, he is considered one of the most influential British artists of The 20th Century. His Pop Art Expressionist artworks have been the subject of more than 400 solo exhibitions. Arts works by Hockney are included in the collections of many of the worlds most prestigious museums.

The rare out of print large format lithograph calendar print measures 19 1/4" W X 23" H. It is in good vintage condition consistent with age, use, and signs of handling and wear. It has never been framed. There is some visible surface and edge wear from age. Please see photos for condition reference. It will frame very well.
