Its form released from any constraint or reference flourishes in scrolls, like flexible drapes. Its two -tone colorful treatment between green and bright red is a perfect success.

Free in shape, all in a volute, the vase has a splashed green covered green and a shiny red interior. It is a model of Fernand Elchinger, signed in the stylus at his base. The Elchinger vase is in good condition, some traces of friction are visible on the enamel at the upper edge.

10 to 12cm in diameter, 15cm high.

"Ceramics Elchinger" is a family business installed in Soufflenheim in Alsace in 1834. Since that time, generations have followed one another and have offered a production as varied as before-guardist. Léon Elchinger (1871-1942) will mark the spirits by productions of artistic sandstones as well as magnificent Art Nouveau potteries and then Art Deco, with magnificent colors and brilliance.
