Pair of Antique brass carriage lanterns, manufactured in France, second half of the 19 century.
The huge carriage lamps are adorned with decorative crowns and an imposing eagle at the top.
Original glass surrounds the lamp on five sides.
Carriage lights were used to illuminate the road and indicate the dimensions of the carriage.
Glass on all sides of the lantern protected the candle from the wind.
The back cover allows you to change the candle after burning.
Later, candle lanterns were replaced by carbide and kerosene ones.
Give to the interior of the house
special chic and royal grandeur.
Such lamps will serve for many years, because they are out of time and fashion.

Height: 25.6 inc - 60 cm.
Width: 7.5 inc - 16 cm.
The model is designed to use one lamp with a cap E14.
The wiring is in working order.
The wiring is suitable for USA, Canada and Europe.
In excellent condition.
One lantern has a minor flaw (one of the fasteners is missing - visible in the photo), which does not in any way affect the functionality and durability of the lantern.
