This is the third edition of 'Le Morte D'Arthur' with text by Sir Thomas Malory chronicling the Knights of the Round Table. This third edition was limited to 1600 copies and includes exquisite illustrations by Aubrey Beardsley. It has a green cloth binding with a gilt art nouveau design. There is a handwritten note on the inside cover from Christmas Day 1927. It is lacking the original dust jacket and has binding issues. A great piece for the scholar and collector! See less
