A very good … Read more Lovely, antique, fully restored original mahogany framed circa 1830 hand dyed Chesterfield Bordeaux leather director's chair. . A very good looking well made and comfortable directors chair, it looks very important in any setting, the frame is ornately and of course, hand carved, it has elegant lines that scream English Library It has been fully restored as mentioned, the leather has been stripped back, hand dyed six times, antiqued and sealed, the finish is this lovely reddish brown colour. The timber has been cleaned waxed and polished Dimensions Height:- 103cm seat height 53cm Width:- 65.5cm Depth:- 70.5cm Measurements are taken at the widest point This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
