A very good looking well made armchair, based on the original model by Howard & Son's which was later adapted by George Smith, I'm not sure exactly who made this but the work is to a very good standard The combination of leather mixed with kilim is very rare, it gives it a really lovely country house look and feel, I have never seen an American stars and stipes kilim flag before anywhere other than Ralph Lauren Condition wise, the pair look amazing, there leather has a nice vintage patina throughout.
