The armchair is one of a pair, I have a black velvet one without castors and a grey linen one with castors, this sale is for the armchair mentioned above only with the other one being listed under my other items and not included in this sale It is a very well made and unique armchair, originally designed as a gentleman’s library armchair but it of course can be used anywhere, my wife quite likes it as a bedroom chair due to the size but we really don’t have space The form is very fine, it has an oversized back and arms which give it the name of the Butterfly armchair. The chair has been custom upholstered in an oatmeal linen, it looks very English town house sophisticated. This chair is pure quality, it looks expensive and important in any setting and seats wonderfully Condition wise its in very good order, we have professionally upholstery cleaned it from top to bottom which is why you can see some water marks on the base cover facing the floor, there may be some light age and transport marks here and there but mostly its in very fine order Dimensions: Height 85cm Width 97cm Depth 80cm Seat height 40cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
