A very good looking and decorative pair of antique Chinese armchairs, these were made for the Indian export market, I have never seen another pair like them, you can tell they are a Chinese interpretation of what an India looks like by the form and features of the faces They are based on a period Military Campaign folding chair which is highly collectable in its own right, I can't emphasize enough just how rare these chairs are Condition wise we have cleaned waxed and polished the them from top to bottom, there will be some age and use related patina marks based on honest age and genuine use Dimensions of the armchairs open Height:- 90.5cm Width:- 45cm Depth:- 56cm Seat height:- 41cm Dimensions of the armchairs folded Height:- 65cm Width:- 45cm Depth:- 16cm Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
