These are the only chairs of their type ever made by Hermes in this style, they were a customer order for a client who requested the back rests be made to display the H for Hermes. They are in sublime condition having been upholstered in crushed velvet, they have only ever been used as display / art chairs and never for actual use We have cleaned waxed and polished the timber, there may be the odd little mark around the legs from transport and storage but mostly they are in retail new condition Dimensions: Height 80cm Width 37cm Depth 50cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. Condition: Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
