Hand-knotted in wool, an antique 13x16 Oushak rug from Turkey circa 1900-1910 - making way to Rug & Kilim’s antique collection.
On the Design:
The design is like a few of its period favoring more formal, traditional designs and even richer colors. Keen eyes will note a red field in particular underscoring paisley patterns in the pink and blue tones in the borders—much like the playful light pink seen in Oushaks of its period.
Admirers of the craft will appreciate that paisley rugs are some of the most special and collectible in antiques—known for being used by their weavers as a chance to exhibit skills. Specially observed in the repetition and fine detail of paisleys—a feat of a deft hand that set master weavers apart in any era.

The Chairish Buyer Guarantee ensures that you have complete peace of mind when
making a purchase on Chairish, in the event that your item:
- Does not arrive
- Is broken during transit

- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
