Chinese porcelain deer head guanyinzun, a finely formed, baluster shape vase with an unglazed foot and inset base and a velvety, red glazed exterior and interior with light gray highlights and striations, all covered with fine, large pattern, silver wire craquelure. The shoulder of the vase is decorated with three, finely carved, deer heads with curving antkers, each with for circyular bosses below. A four character, place mark is incised to the inset base. The finely carved, traditional, Chinese, hongmu stand is included. Circa mid century or earlier.
