Having lived in Peru,my parents bought a lot of hand tooled,handmade leather furniture from the locals there. A lot of their designs were of Aztec and Inca motifs but years later while living in Ecuador they came across this beautiful leather bar that did not resemble all their other leather furniture-for this reason my Dad fell in love with it. It is more floral and decorative. It ended up having been made in Peru as well!
It was never used as a bar so to speak, just a great piece of furniture and definitely a conversation piece. It has been adored by many. My Dad was not a drinker and had been offered many a deal on it, but he was too attached.
The time has come to downsize and because it is such an exquisite and unique piece, i hope to find a good home for it. It has a lot of storage space. It has that it's for local pick up, except that I will gladly ship anywhere providing shipping is paid for. I know of a great couple that moves furniture that i've used in the past.
It stands 40" tall
There is a slight curve in it so the ends are 13' wide,12 3/4" in the middle
the main upper shelf is 14 3/4" deep/wide, 31 5/8" long, and 14" tall
The bottom left side is 22" long, and 12" wide- it is 17 1/2" tall
The 2nd compartment,on the bottom right side is 12 1/2" - 12" to the rails-it is 22" long,and 18"tall
