This globe is 6.5 inches tall with a circumference of 18 inches.

Self-taught, Ms. Kellogg loved painting stylized designs of nature, which this lovely ceramic globe shows off with its variety of birds — A parrot? A robin? A pelican? A sparrow? — along with pale iris floral designs and a slightly raised motif. It can be opened into 2 parts to hold small items such as jewelry or candy. It is signed both on the exterior and interior bottom half.
